1. About POEX

Scheduled to open in 2027, the Pohang International Exhibition & Convention Center (POEX) will be the largest purpose-built MICE venue in the Gyeongbuk region, spanning from one basement level to five above-ground floors.

Designed as a meeting hub and a strategic base for global business exchange, POEX embodies Pohang’s vision to connect local innovation with open, community-driven international opportunity.

3. Facilities

[Exhibition Hall]
Located on the 2nd floor, the 7,183㎡ column-free exhibition hall can be divided into two halls, providing flexible space for exhibitions, trade shows, and large-scale events.

[Convention Hall]
The 2,022㎡ convention hall accommodates up to 2,000 delegates and can be divided into two independent halls, making it ideal for international conferences, congresses, and receptions.

[Meeting Rooms]
Thirteen meeting rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors accommodate 60–220 delegates per room and are suitable for seminars, workshops, breakout sessions, and business meetings.
